Meet Your Managers

Thad and Stacy Gilder have been with Adventure Bound Camping Resorts since 2003 and have been managing Jellystone Park in Elmer, New Jersey since spring of 2004. Both are originally from the Jacksonville, FL area and have been married since 1989. "Jellystone Park is my family's home. When you camp with us you are treated as guests in our home!" says Stacy of the family atmosphere she and Thad have created at the park.

Thad has an extensive background in civil engineering/construction management and has been involved in numerous construction projects at many of the Adventure Bound parks. He is responsible for several projects and key construction improvements at Jellystone Park. Stacy oversees the office, store and reservations. As experienced campers, who have camped for most of their lives, Thad and Stacy understand the importance of creating a fun-filled, family atmosphere, where campers are treated like guests, with the utmost courtesy and respect. This attitude, which filters down to all their staff members, has played an important role in the growth of the park.

In their spare time the Gilder family enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. Thad's favorites include golfing and hunting, while Stacy's are running and working out at the gym. Nick's hobbies range from skateboarding to unicycling while Mirandie enjoys sewing and art.
