- What types of accommodations are available at Adventure Bound Oak Creek?
- Adventure Bound Oak Creek offers five types of rental accommodations plus campsites. Our Log Home sleeps 6 with two queen beds, a twin bunk, a fully equipped kitchen (no oven), bathroom with shower, and AC/heat. The Deluxe Cottage sleeps 6 with a queen bed, queen futon, twin bunk, full kitchen, and shower/tub combination. Our standard Cottage sleeps 6 with a double bed, two bunk beds, a full kitchen, porch, and shower — two units are pet-friendly ($50 fee). The 2 Room Rustic Cabin sleeps 6 with a double bed and two bunk beds, heat/AC, and a fire ring — no kitchen or bathroom, but clean bathhouses are just steps away. The 1 Room Rustic Cabin sleeps 4 with a double bed and one bunk bed. All cabin and cottage rentals include a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill. We also offer full-hookup RV sites with 30/50-amp electric service and spacious tent sites with water and electric hookups.
- How much does it cost to stay at Adventure Bound Oak Creek?
- Rates at Adventure Bound Oak Creek start at $81 per night for RV sites and $138 per night for cabin rentals. Pricing varies by accommodation type, season, dates, and demand. All on-site activities — including the heated pool, mini golf, GaGa ball, playgrounds, and fishing — are included with your stay at no extra charge.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- Payment in full is required at the time of reservation. If you cancel 30 or more days before your arrival date, you will receive a cash refund less a $25 cancellation fee, or a full refund issued as resort credit. Cancellations made by 6 p.m. at least 14 days before arrival receive resort credit equal to the full value of the reservation. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival are forfeited. We do not give credit or refunds due to weather — the fun continues rain or shine.

- Absolutely! Adventure Bound Oak Creek has a thriving seasonal camping community. - Is there a general store at Adventure Bound Oak Creek?
- Yes! Our on-site general store carries camping essentials, groceries, snacks, ice, dry firewood, and souvenirs. It's a convenient one-stop shop so you don't have to leave the resort for forgotten items or last-minute supplies.
Check-In, Policies & Pets
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
- For campsites (RV and tent), check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 1:00 PM. For cabins, cottages, and other rental accommodations, check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. The minimum check-in age is 21 years old. If you need to arrange a late arrival, please contact our Reservation Department at 717-445-6161.
- Are pets allowed at Adventure Bound Oak Creek?
- Yes, Adventure Bound Oak Creek is a pet-friendly campground. Friendly pets that are current with their vaccinations are welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Two of our Cottage units are designated pet-friendly rentals with a $50 pet fee. RV and tent campsites are also pet-friendly at no additional charge.
- What should I bring to the resort?
- For cabin and cottage rentals, please bring your own linens, towels, sleeping bags, pillows, and lawn chairs. Kitchens in the Log Home, Deluxe Cottage, and Cottage are fully equipped with cooking utensils, a coffee pot, and a microwave. Rustic cabin guests should bring all bedding plus any cooking supplies for use with the charcoal grill and fire ring. For campsites, standard camping gear is recommended. State law prohibits bringing firewood from out of state — dry firewood is available for purchase in the park.
- What are the quiet hours and campground rules?
- Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult after 10:00 PM. Please drive slowly and watch for children throughout the campground. Dirt bikes and ATVs are not allowed inside the campground but can be parked outside the gates. Bike helmets are required by Pennsylvania State Law for anyone under 12 years of age. Please take all trash to the dumpsters provided.

- All on-site activities are included with your stay at no extra charge. Adventure Bound Oak Creek features a heated outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally), an 18-hole mini golf course, a GaGa ball pit, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, and fishing. Oak Creek runs right through the property, providing a peaceful natural setting for relaxing by the water. Throughout the season, the resort also hosts planned activities including hayrides, movie nights, arts and crafts, and themed weekends.
- What are the Halloween weekends at Oak Creek?
- Our Halloween weekends in October are among the biggest events of the season. Activities include trick-or-treating through the campground, costume contests, pumpkin decorating, and site decorating competitions. Families come back year after year for the festive atmosphere. - What is there to do near Adventure Bound Oak Creek?
- Adventure Bound Oak Creek is located in the heart of Lancaster County Amish Country, one of the most visited destinations in Pennsylvania. Nearby attractions include Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse for handmade jams, fudge, and craft shops; the Strasburg Railroad for a steam-powered train ride through the countryside; and the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Dutch Wonderland amusement park is about 20 minutes away, and Hersheypark is approximately 45 minutes north. History buffs can visit the Ephrata Cloister or explore downtown Lancaster and the Lancaster Central Market, the nation's oldest continuously operating farmers market. - Yes, Adventure Bound Oak Creek offers affordable winter RV storage during the off-season. Rates start at $300 for the entire winter storage period, which runs from the day after the current season ends to the day before the next season begins.
